Materials for examination

Source information to prepare before discussing a task.

A substantive examination requires the source, complete context and a precise question. The translation, quotation and original publication must be distinguishable in the set supplied.

  • Supply the full text or recording rather than an isolated quotation.
  • Identify the language, translator and translation version if known.
  • Preserve images together with their captions and composition.
  • Describe the task without asking about guilt or the acceptability of beliefs.
